When I first began talking to this client, she was frustrated that her home was nearly empty, but every time she bought something, it didn't look good in the house.

At first, she claimed her style was "boring" and "neutral, gray, blue, white." However, when I got her talking, she used phrases like "I love orange" and "I want it to be hippie, laid-back, where people want to chill," yet "modern, simple, and free-spirited, with a little spice." She also wanted a home that conveyed her Mexican heritage without being "too Mexican" or theme-y.

It became apparent that "neutral and boring" wasn't truly her style - it was her fear of being bold and making a mistake. Once an interior decorator drew out her true wants, we were able to design a space that reflects her warm and vibrant personality.

When we presented the design, her response was "UGH I LOVE IT! This is a dream."
